Coronavirus

All Solihull Libraries will be closed from the evening of Wednesday 4 November for browsing and PC access.

The library service will offer the ‘Click and Collect’ service that operated earlier this year, whereby customers can order books online or by telephone to collect at a pre-arranged time from some libraries across the borough.  

From Thursday 5 November the following library sites will be offering Click and Collect:

Due to essential maintenance the library catalogue and My Account will not be available from 10pm on Thursday 26 November to 2am on Friday 27 November.

Joining the library is easy, membership is free and you can use your library card in any Solihull library and use our online services.

You can also visit any library in Solihull to join in person. You will need to provide 1 form of identification that shows your name and address.

If you are under 13 a parent or guardian must act as guarantor before you can borrow any items.

Adults can borrow up to:

  • 10 books (3 week loan)
  • 6 CDs (1 week loan)
  • 6 DVDs (1 week loan)
  • 10 Audiobooks (3 week loan)

Children and teenagers can borrow up to:

  • 10 books (3 week loan)
  • 6 CDs (1 week loan)
  • 6 children's DVDs (1 week loan)
  • 10 Audiobooks (3 week loan)

You can renew items by:

You may not be able to renew items if they have been reserved by another customer.
