What's on

Coronavirus

Following the recent guidance from the Government and its Public Health experts regarding the Covid-19 virus, Solihull Council has reluctantly taken the decision to cancel its events planned for our parks and Solihull town centre until further notice.

The first to be affected are the following:

  • Easter Egg Hunt, scheduled to take place in Elmdon Park on Thursday 9 April
  • Dizzy Duck Race, due to take place in Babb’s Mill LNR on Wednesday 15 April
  • VE Day 75 Party in the Park, due to take place in Shirley Park on Saturday 9 May

Any other Council-run events due to take place during the summer are also cancelled.

Some organisations and community groups have also cancelled their events in the parks or town centre, although others are continuing to monitor the situation before making a final decision.
