Summer Reading Challenge

All Solihull Libraries

The Reading Agency Summer Reading Challenge takes place every year during the school summer holidays, and the theme for 2019 is Space Chase.

Sign up at any Solihull library from Saturday 13 July 2019 and read six books over the holiday to earn stickers, bookmark, certificate and a medal. It is free to join and open to all children aged 4 to 11.

Wild Things!

Shirley Park, B90 3AL, 11.00am-3.00pm

Following cancellation of this event on Wednesday 14 August due to bad weather, visitors will have another chance to make some new animal friends at our mini zoo! Animal themed treasure trail and craft activity are also available.

Other entertainment includes children’s rides and face painting, though please note that there will be no Punch and Judy man at this event. Refreshments and toilets are available on site.

Entrance is free with small charges for some of the attractions on site. Meet by the play area.
