Solihull Council is giving Olton Library users more time to comment on the draft proposals for the Library, with the plans on display in the Library reception area from Monday 19 until Saturday 31 August.
The plans for the interior and exterior of the Library aim to make it a more appealing and inviting space for local people, groups and visitors to the area.
Library staff will be on hand to talk to local people and users about the plans, what the new layout could look like, the furniture and group meeting spaces.
If the plans are supported by local residents and library users an application will be submitted to the Community Infrastructure Levy scheme for consideration in October.
The Council’s Cabinet Member for Stronger & Safer Communities Cllr Alison Rolf said: “There's still time for local residents to talk to library staff about the new proposals. Come along and find out how you can help shape the look and feel of your local library.”
