Exhibitors include Arup, KPMG, West Midlands Ambulance Service, Balfour Beatty and the NEC Group.
Organised by Solihull Council, the Apprenticeship Show is part of the Solihull Careers Hub, funded by the Careers and Enterprise Company to transform careers education for young people.
Solihull Council’s Employment & Skills Team will be on hand to offer support to residents considering an apprenticeship including tips on how to make a strong application.
Councillor Ken Meeson, Cabinet Member for Children, Education and Skills said: “Our Apprenticeship Shows offer a fantastic opportunity for people in Solihull to make contact with employers and learn more about the value of apprenticeships. Apprenticeships are a great alternative to university and allow people to earn as they learn, gaining valuable work experience, whether they are continuing learning or changing careers. There will be a room full of employers and training providers to talk to including current and past apprentices who can share their experiences”.
The show is sponsored by Graham Facilities and Interserve.
