All Solihull libraries close on bank holidays.

Knowle Library 

Knowle Library will be closed all day on Saturday 2 May 2026 and will reopen at 10:00am on Tuesday 5 May 2026, following the bank holiday closure on Monday 4 May 2026.

Shirley Library

Shirley Library will be closed from 9:30am to 1:00pm on Saturday 2 May 2026 and will reopen on Saturday 2 May 2026 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm.

• logging into your Library account with your library card and PIN
• calling us on 0121 704 6965
• visiting one of our other Libraries

We do not charge fines but do ask you to return your items for other residents to use.
