Solihull Community Housing (SCH) Wellbeing work with Solihull Council to offer a range of services to help keep you independent, safe and happy in your own home.

Safe and Sound pendant alarm

Our Safe and Sound Plan provides you with a pendant alarm service to give you confidence in your own home.  

Depending on what plan you choose, this can include a 24/7 response service.  

You can also add additional packages to your plan such as falls or fire safety. 

Handyperson Home Support Service

Our Handyperson Home Support Service helps you to continue living independently in your own home.  

It includes odd jobs such as: 

• changing lightbulbs
• rearranging furniture
• putting up shelves 

Home Hazard Checks

We offer a free home visit to check for hazards to make sure your home is safe.  

We can provide low level aids and equipment, such as grab rails, toilet frames and bath steps, free of charge.
