Later Life events

To help you plan ahead and make good decisions early about later life, we are running two free events in October.

These will take place on:

  • Friday 9 October 2026 between 12:00pm and 5:00pm at The Loft in Chelmsley Wood
  • Monday 12 October 2026 between 12:30pm and 3:30pm at The Core Library in Solihull town centre 

What can I expect?

During the event, you will be able to talk to local experts about topics including: 

  • finances and planning
  • vaccinations and health advice 
  • community support and activities  
  • housing and care choices 
  • staying independent at home  
  • support for carers

Do I need to book in advance?

No, you do not need to book to attend either of our events. 

You can simply turn up on the day and speak to any of our friendly stallholders. 

Get involved in future events

We are inviting Solihull residents to be part of a 'co-production group' to shape future events. You will have the opportunity to share your experiences and ideas, as we review the successes of past events and discuss improvements.
