The Council's role is to support people’s independence and wellbeing and enable them to live well. 

If you’re looking for advice for you or the person you care for, our Here2Help Advice Service will provide:

  • face-to-face advice in a range of trusted community venues across all 17 wards in Solihull
  • a dedicated phone line

Changes from 1 October 2026

From 1 October, the new Here2Help Advice Service is being delivered by Citizens Advice Solihull Borough in partnership with:

  • Colebridge Trust
  • Entraide
  • Gateway Family Services
  • Shelter

Initially, the service will prioritise urgent enquiries and support people already on the waiting list.

Information about in-person venues and opening times will be confirmed at a later date.

Our Here2Help Advice Service brings together a range of local organisations to provide you with free information, advice and support on topics including: 

  • benefits, debt and money matters   
  • housing and tenancy issues   
  • forms and applications   
  • disability-related benefits and support   
  • care and support options   
  • health and wellbeing information   
  • digital and online access   
  • local services and community support   

If we can’t help you, we'll refer you to services that can.

How to get help

To ask for help from our Here2Help Advice Service, you must be aged 18 or over and live permanently in Solihull.
