We are here to help you plan ahead and make good decisions early about later life.
We send an email bulletin every two months with suggestions, advice and information about council services and local organisations helping you to plan for later life.
The bulletin also has details of our free events around the borough where you can talk to council teams, local experts and organisations about:
- finances and planning in case you (or family members) need help
- housing choices, including adaptations, right-sizing and how housing can keep you well
- support for carers
- technology and care choices
- looking after your health and wellbeing

Events
We are inviting Solihull residents to be part of a 'co-production group' to shape future events. You will have the opportunity to share your experiences and ideas, as we review the successes of past events and discuss improvements.
The project will run from May 2026 to November 2026. The first meeting is due to take place on Tuesday 19 May 2026 between 10:00am and 12:00pm via Microsoft Teams. Meetings will occur every four to six weeks.
