Early Help

The Family Helpline is a free phone line for families and professionals in Solihull to access support for parents and children.

You can contact the Family Helpline by calling 0121 788 4327.

We are open:

  • Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 4:30pm
  • Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

A dedicated team of duty workers will be able to provide advice on Early Help, including:

  • parenting guidance
  • child development
  • school attendance
  • help with completing Early Help plans

Support also involves signposting to local services such as:

  • the Solihull Family Hubs
  • managing child behavioural issues
  • ensuring health and emotional wellbeing needs are being met
  • referring parents to Family Support Workers

The service is part of our Early Help support, which helps to address issues before they escalate.
