Colebridge Trust facilitates the North Solihull Voluntary and Community Alliance. Offering resources, networking opportunities, and advocacy for charities, voluntary groups, and social enterprises.
The charity plays an active role in strategic boards and forums, ensuring that local interests are represented in decision-making processes. This helps to influence policy development, champion community needs, and foster dialogue among stakeholders.
Colebridge Trust is also a driving force behind NorthernSol, which aims unite stakeholders and champion the area. Through engagement across all ages, abilities, and sectors, the organisation helps shape local priorities, create opportunities, and build community pride.
Supporting inclusion and empowerment, including its role as a Local Trusted Organisation for the Big Local project in Smiths Wood - Cars Area Together.
Facilitating knowledge-sharing and leadership development, including leading the Social Economy Cluster for Kingshurst and North Solihull.
Recruiting and supporting volunteers across projects and assisting organisations with volunteer management.
Providing bid writing, accountancy, IT support, and consultancy for charities and local authorities. Colebridge Trust has secured significant funding for Solihull and supported the launch of numerous CVS organisations.
Delivering initiatives focused on physical, mental, and emotional wellness, including leadership in public health and experience with Healthwatch.
Supporting young people through programmes such as Young Solihull, Waterloo Social, Talent Match, and Steps to the Real Me.
Offering job clubs, digital skills training, and self-employment support in collaboration with Solihull College, WMCA, and Solihull Council.
Providing affordable food options and leading foodbank services in Solihull.
North Solihull’s only community-led family hub, offering parenting classes, youth programmes, mental health support, and financial advice.
Running an ISO9001-accredited initiative that provides employment and inclusion, recognised as a Disability Confident Partner and active member of the (British Association of Supported Employment) BASE.
Collaborating to enhance local environments and create inclusive, sustainable spaces for community use.
