Help shape employment support for young people

We're looking for school leaders to join our Employment and Skills Board.

Are you passionate about young people’s career prospects and want to make a meaningful difference? Solihull Employment and Skills Board is looking for school leaders to get involved. 

What is Solihull Employment and Skills Board?

Solihull Employment and Skills Board is an employer-led board made up of professionals across the private and public sectors. Together, we drive forward priorities for Solihull and shape the future workforce.

The board is committed to equipping Solihull residents with the skills employers need, while influencing new policies and trends for skills development and employment support.  

With young people being one of the main focuses, insights from educators is invaluable and will play an important role in developing high quality employer links and skills support for schools and young people.  

Board members participate on a voluntary basis and meet in-person every two months.
