Library closures

View the latest Library closures and any changes to opening hours.

All Solihull libraries close on bank holidays.

Hampton In Arden Library will be closed:

From 2.00pm to 5.00pm on Thursday 16 April 2026 and will reopen at 2.00pm on Friday 17 April 2026.

You can still renew your items online with your library card and PIN.

If your nearest library is closed:

You can renew your items by:

  • logging into your Library account with your library card and PIN
  • calling us on 0121 704 6965
  • visiting one of our other Libraries

We do not charge fines but do ask you to return your items for other residents to use.
