Using library computers
Library members get free computer access, why not join free of charge.
If you have an online membership, we can change this to full membership so you can use our computers.
For non-library members there is a charge to use a computer.
Computers are available until 15 minutes before the library closes.
How much does it cost
Library members get up to 3 hours access a day for free. Sessions can be extended for a fee.

What you can and cannot do
You cannot save work to our computers. However, you can:
- save work to your cloud storage (such as OneDrive or Google Cloud)
- email any documents to yourself
You can use a USB stick, but we will need to run a virus check before you connect it to the PC.
Selected computers come with Microsoft Office programmes such as Word and Excel.
Microsoft Ease of Access Centre is available on all computers, this includes a:
- magnifier
- narrator
- onscreen keyboard

If you have library membership, please bring your library card.
Wifi
Our library wifi is free for everyone.
Wifi is not currently available at Smiths Wood Neighbourhood Library.
