Micro, small and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Solihull can now benefit from expert support with procurement and tendering for free.

Without access to a dedicated procurement team, writing and bidding for contracts can be a daunting and time-consuming prospect for many MSMEs. The tailored support now available from Go4Growth can help streamline and simplify the process.
Solihull Council has partnered with procurement specialists Go4Growth to provide growing businesses with free advice and guidance, helping them to become more competitive in the tendering process and secure important new contracts.
The Go4Growth programme is part of a wider package of bespoke support being made available to the local business community for free by Solihull Council.
Alongside support for growing MSMEs, access to the programme is also available for free for organisations within the voluntary community, social and faith enterprise community (VCSFE) sector.
Councillor Heather Delaney, the Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Economy, Business & Skills, said:
“I am really pleased to announce our new partnership with Go4Growth. The knowledge and expertise provided by the procurement leaders and passionate small business owners at Go4Growth will be an invaluable resource to many of our growing MSMEs and fantastic VCSFEs.
“These businesses are the backbone of Solihull’s thriving economy, and we are proud of the support we are able to provide.
“While bid writing can be a barrier to some, our partnership with Go4Growth will help ensure businesses have the skills and support they need to overcome any obstacle in the process and land the contracts they need to unlock further growth.
Gillian Askew FCIPS, Co-Founder of Go4Growth, said:
“We are delighted to work with Solihull Council in helping local organisations to flourish in the face of any challenge thrown up on their procurement journey.
