Solihull Council will again be suspending parking enforcement in residential areas over the Christmas and New Year period.
Parking enforcement is suspended from 7am on Monday 22 December until 7am on Friday 2 January, when enforcement will resume as normal.
Parking relaxation applies to roads subject to single yellow line restrictions only.
People should continue to park considerately and safely and continue to comply with the Highway Code.
Councillor Ken Hawkins, Solihull Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment and Infrastructure, said:
“We recognise Christmas and New Year is a time when many people in Solihull will be visiting friends and family and enjoying the festivities.
“That’s why we are suspending parking enforcement in residential areas over this period to give local people peace of mind.
“Of course, please continue to park considerately so that everyone can have a safe and happy time over the festive season.”
