Fostering facts without leaving home!

Potential foster carers can find out fostering facts without the need to leave their home, following the re-launch of monthly virtual information sessions from Foster for Solihull.

The online sessions will provide a convenient, no obligation opportunity for people thinking about fostering, to hear from a current foster carer, along with a member of the fostering team at Solihull Council.

The next call runs on Wednesday 29 April, 7pm to 8pm, with subsequent sessions every single month.

The online video calls will help separate myths and assumptions from the reality of being a carer, arming attendees with insights and useful information to help in their decision-making process.

Register now to attend on 29 March whilst future sessions are also available to book.

Neelam Ahmed, Fostering Recruitment Team Manager, said: “The virtual information evenings are an ideal way to ask any questions about fostering, to one of the experienced members of our fostering team, here in Solihull.

It’s also an ideal opportunity for us to provide information about the many different types of fostering, which are required to provide the secure and loving home needed for Solihull children in care.

If you have space in your heart, and space in your home and want to learn more about fostering - we’d love to welcome you onto one of our online information sessions”.
