Help shape the future of adult social care in Solihull

Unpaid carers, people who use adult social care and others across Solihull are being asked to share their needs and experiences as part of plans to develop three key strategies.

Views shared will help Solihull Council to update three important and connected adult social care documents – the Carers Strategy, Our Offer to You, and the 5-Year Plan.

Feedback will be used to inform the new strategies, which we will consult on at a later date.

These three documents will help shape adult social care services over the next five years, covering the period 2027-2032.

People can get involved by joining one of our in-person events or by completing one of the three strategy surveys. Full event details, online surveys, and existing strategy documents can be found at www.solihull.gov.uk/asc-get-involved.

Councillor Tony Dicicco, Solihull Council’s Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care & Health, said:

"These surveys and events offer a chance for people and organisations to tell us things such as what support works well, what would make the biggest difference to them, and identify where we can do better in the future.

"By working together, we can ensure that these documents reflect what matters most to people, reflecting their needs and priorities for the years ahead.

"We're really keen to hear from as many people as possible, so if you have 10 minutes, please take part in one or as many of the surveys as you would like, or join one of our events."
