Councillor Grinsell, Leader of Solihull Council and Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Children and Education has congratulated Solihull pupils on their A and T-Level results today -
“Well done to everyone, this outstanding set of results is testament to all the hard work you have put in not just this year when you turned in your coursework and sat your exams, but throughout your time at school. Every double lesson you’ve ploughed through on a warm afternoon and every bit of homework you’ve done when you might have wished you were somewhere else contributed to that feeling of joy this morning if you got the results you were hoping for. You should be incredibly proud of your achievement and the effort you put in to get there. These good results are also a reflection of the brilliant and dedicated teachers who work so hard for our children here in Solihull, thank you to all of them too.
“Whilst many of you will have secured university places with today’s results, I know there will be plenty who still aren’t sure what they should do next. That’s no problem at all as we have loads of help and support available at the seven post-results drop-in sessions being run by The Council’s Skills for Success team.”
