Solihull students celebrated an outstanding set of GCSE results today, with high levels of achievement for pupils achieved across the borough.
Councillor Karen Grinsell, Leader of Solihull Council and Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Children and Education welcomed the news:
“The excellent set of results achieved by pupils all over Solihull reflects the hard work they have put into their studies, as well as the dedication and drive of the teachers who have supported their learning. Well done to everyone involved. Good results can set pupils on a path to further qualifications and great careers, but anyone who didn’t quite get the results they wanted or isn’t sure what to do next shouldn’t worry as there is plenty of help and support available from Solihull Council’s Skills for Success Team. They’re running drop-in sessions where you can get one-to-one advice on those crucial next steps.”
