Visitors to Solihull town centre may already be aware that the Post Office and TG Jones located in Mell Square will be closing on 11 July 2026.
Councillor Karen Grinsell, Leader of Solihull Council, shared this statement:
"We know that the closure of TG Jones and the Post Office in Mell Square will be disappointing for many.
“While the decision on any future Post Office provision sits with Post Office Ltd, we are working to support potential franchise applications by exploring suitable premises within the town centre."
