All of our Council-managed allotment sites are currently at full capacity, and there are no vacant plots available at this time.
Waiting lists
Our waiting lists have reached full capacity and the application process is currently closed.
Waiting lists will be reviewed and may reopen in late summer or early autumn 2026, subject to availability. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to check back at a later date for any updates.

Annual allotment charges
Our annual fees apply from 1 April.

Discount
You may be entitled to a 50% discount on your rent if you are:
- a registered carer
- unemployed
- 60 years of age or over
Your discount will be applied on 1 April each year.
Allotment gardening is somewhat of a British institution and we're more than happy to provide quality sites, as is a statutory requirement. A great way for families and individuals to grow their own organic food, they're also wonderful areas for socialising, enjoying local wildlife and providing:

- organic fruit
- home grown flowers
- recreational space
- healthy activity
- social space
- wildlife habitation
