Council services over Christmas
Some of our services will change during the festive season.
Emerging Local Plan
The Council began work on preparing a new local plan in November 2024
It is expected the new plan will cover the period 2026 to 2043.
The Council’s plan-making intentions are included in the Local Development Scheme.
A call for sites exercise was undertaken from November 2024 to February 2025.
Work is being undertaken to update the evidence base to support the new plan and a draft plan is expected to be published by the end of 2025.
