Solihull Council’s Healthy Homes Scheme seeks to deliver energy upgrades to homes in the area, helping to make them warmer, more comfortable, prevent damp and mould and improve the indoor air quality.
Solihull Council has received funding from West Midlands Combined Authority and have partnered with Act on Energy to deliver this scheme, which falls under a wider programme of work in the area called ‘Your Future Chelmsley Wood’.
We are initially providing updated Energy Performance Certificates, for homes with an EPC rating of D-G, followed by a free home retrofit assessment and indoor air quality monitoring.
Following your personalised retrofit assessment, you could be eligible to receive fully funded home energy upgrades, including loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, solar panels or air source heat pumps.
Healthy Homes Scheme - Eligibility
Only homes with an EPC rating of D to G are eligible for this scheme.

If your property does not have an EPC and you meet the rest of the criteria, it might be possible for one to be arranged free of charge. However, this is dependent on funding availability.
