We would like help from young people in Chelmsley Wood to make original artwork that show these themes:
- making homes warmer, more comfortable and healthier to live in
- protecting the natural environment and improving access to green spaces
- increasing walking and cycling around Chelmsley Wood
For example, you could draw, paint or write about:
- people enjoying parks and open spaces
- trees and the natural environment
- people walking or cycling
- homes with solar panels
Or you could capture your favourite places in Chelmsley Wood such as:
- your favourite park
- your favourite place to meet friends
- your favourite place to shop
Your art can be in the form of photographs, poetry or drawings.
Who can take part?
Young people aged between 8 and 18 who live in Chelmsley Wood can take part in this competition.
Prizes and recognition
Your artwork may be displayed at local events and exhibitions or even feature on future communications about the Your Future Chelmsley Wood project.
Winners will be picked on Thursday 23 October 2025 by the Mayor of Solihull.
There will be one winner per age category. Each winner will receive a £30 One4All gift card.
