Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018

The Government has recently published the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018 under section 13 of the Animal Welfare Act 2006.

You will need a licence if you plan plan to:

  • breed dogs
  • hire our horses
  • keep or train animals for exhibitions
  • provide boarding for cats
  • provide boarding in kennels for dogs
  • provide day care for dogs
  • sell animals as pets
