Up to 80% of the CIL funds received will be allocated via a ‘Strategic CIL Fund’ which will allow substantial funds to accumulate thus enabling more significant infrastructure projects to be funded.
This will be developed further during the course of 2020 as the Council prepares its first Infrastructure Funding Statement to be published before the end of the year.
The Infrastructure Funding Statement will set out the projects intended to be funded through CIL, until then the Regulation 123 List adopted in 2016 when the charge came into effect should be referred to.
