We provide different types of recycling to flats. Some flats have their own containers while others share recycling containers. This page is for shared recycling containers.
Your collection calendar
You can use our collection calendar to find the week of your rubbish and recycling collections.
Recycling is collected once a fortnight.
If you can’t see a calendar for your address you can contact us to request your calendar.
What you can recycle
We supply blue wheelie bins with different coloured lids labelled as:
You can help us recycle by only putting clean recycling in your containers.
Cardboard can be flattened, folded or torn. Please remove any packaging such as polystyrene.
If your blue recycling bin is full cardboard can be left alongside it but this needs to be flat and at a size that would have fitted into your bin.
If you have a bin with a red, blue or grey lid you can recycle:
- paper
- card and cardboard
- plastic bottles
- food pots and trays
- tins and cans
- aerosols
- glass bottles and jars
Remember, if in doubt leave it out.
Do not place big items of rubbish in the bin area as this could stop us from collecting your recycling and rubbish.
