Road closures and town centre access

What you need to consider if you are holding an event on the road or need access to Solihull town centre.

Closing a road

Groups or organisations who wish to hold an event on the highway can apply to close a road.

You must give at least 12 weeks' notice to close a road.

You can apply for access if you need to bring a vehicle into Solihull High Street or Mell Square.

You must apply at least 7 days before access is required.

If you wish to make an application to suspend parking bays as part of an event please email parkingservices@solihull.gov.uk.

You must do this at least 12 weeks before your event.
