All care experienced children and young people in Solihull are part of the OVOS community.
OVOS is the name of Solihull’s Children in Care Council.
OVOS members are vital in making sure that children and young people's voices are heard, to say how you feel about the services you receive, and how things could be changed to make things better for you.
Being in a group, we can plan regular fun events and activities, get a chance to make friends, have fun and learn new skills through having a go.
You can help the work we do with care experienced children by making a donation.
The Solihull Promise to children and young people in care. It makes it clear what you can expect from us, like how we will make you feel cared for and make sure your voice is heard.
Our Local Offer to Care Experienced Young People.
If you need help, there are people you can talk to. No matter what the issue is, please don’t be afraid to get in touch:
OVOS strives to encourage all young people to participate in sharing their views about being in care.
You can email us at ovos@solihull.gov.uk.
You can also find out from your social worker or personal advisor (PA) what events are coming up and ask them to contact OVOS for you.
