Commissioned youth projects

Solihull Council wants to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.

Assessing the needs of young people, setting priorities, designing and planning services, procuring services, monitoring the quality of the services and reviewing them against the intended outcomes. This is the commissioning process or cycle. Our goal is to work towards involving young people in our commissioning process, take a look at our Youth Voice page.

There are lots of Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations working across Solihull who have not been commissioned by Solihull Council.

To find out more about some of these organisations, please visit the Young Opportunities Solihull website to find out more.

These projects have been commissioned by Solihull Council, if you want to find out more email youthoffer@solihull.gov.uk

It will also be utilised by the Detached Outreach service run by Fitcap, where trained youth workers walk around key locations, to chat and get to know young people who are not accessing any youth activities.
