Pride in Place

People living in Chelmsley Wood East will see the benefits of up to £20M investment in their community over the next ten years. 

The investment is being funded as part of a government initiative called Pride in Place which helps residents, businesses and community groups to deliver real improvements that matter to local people, with a clear vision for their area. The programme aims to:

• regenerate town centres
• improve public spaces
• enhance community assets
• restore pride in local communities
