Who can be nominated?
What is the eligibility criteria?
Each award has specific criteria. You must explain how your nominee meets the criteria and provide evidence of the impact they’ve made.
Nominations that do not meet the criteria or lack supporting evidence will not be considered.
Can I nominate more than one person or organisation?
Yes, you can submit multiple nominations, but each must be tailored to the relevant award category and include supporting evidence.
Can I nominate someone who was nominated in a previous year?
If a previous nominee deserves recognition or is eligible for a different award, they can still be nominated.
What kind of evidence should I include?
Examples of the nominee’s work, achievements, or contributions that clearly show how they meet the award criteria.

- testimonials
- measurable impact
Can I nominate someone anonymously?
No. You must provide your contact details so we can follow up if needed.
What happens after I submit a nomination?
Nominations will be reviewed for eligibility and quality assurance.
Eligible nominations will be passed to the judging panel for consideration.
When will the winners be announced?
Winners will be announced at the Civic Honours Awards ceremony on Monday 22 March 2027 at The Core Theatre, Solihull.
Can I nominate someone who lives outside Solihull but works here?
Yes - as long as they live, work, or operate within Solihull, they are eligible.
Is there a word limit for nominations?
Yes. Each nomination form includes guidance on word limits to help keep submissions focused and fair.
Will nominees be informed?
Once submitted, nominations will be reviewed to ensure they meet the eligibility requirements and criteria for the selected award category.
Eligible nominations will then be considered by a judging panel.
Shortlisted nominees will be contacted and informed nearer to the Civic Honours Awards event.
