Food support evaluation in Solihull

Solihull Council has commissioned Forever Consulting, an independent research organisation, to carry out an evaluation of food support services across the borough.

This includes services such as:

• food banks
• community pantries
• community cafés
• emergency food provision

The aim is to understand what support is available, how people access it, and how well the system is meeting people’s needs.

Why people are being contacted

Forever Consulting is speaking to:

• residents who have recently used food support
• referral partners such as charities, community groups, and frontline professionals

If you have been contacted by Forever Consulting, it is legitimate. They are working on behalf of Solihull Council.

Taking part is voluntary 

You do not have to take part in the evaluation.

If you choose not to take part, your access to future food support will not be affected.

What taking part involves

Residents and referral partners may be invited to:

• take part in a short interview
• complete an online or telephone survey
• share their views about how food support is working

You can decide how much or how little you want to share.

How your information will be used

Any information you share with Forever Consulting will:

• remain confidential
• only be used to help improve food support services in Solihull

Your personal details will not be shared with Solihull Council without your consent.

• improve services for residents in need
