Household Support Fund replacement

From 1 April 2026, the government is ending the Household Support Fund (HSF) and replacing it with a new Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF).

Some of the support that has been provided through the HSF will continue to be available but there will be changes (some immediately and others over the coming months). This is in response to new funding conditions and what the council is allowed to spend the money on.
