Landlords and managing agents across Solihull joined a forum to hear updates on key legislation and receive support from the Council.
The Solihull Landlord Forum was hosted by Solihull Council on Thursday 27 November, providing an opportunity to meet with the Council’s housing team, ask questions and network with others.
Attendees also had the chance to hear from the Council on topics ranging from energy efficiency to benefit processing, as well as insights on the Renters’ Rights Act from legal and industry experts at FBC Manby Bowdler and The National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA).
Solihull Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing, Councillor Mark Parker, said:
“It was fantastic to see so many landlords and managing agents in attendance and I would like to thank them – and our guest speakers – for helping to make this event such a great success.
“The private-rented sector plays an important role in meeting local housing needs, which is why events like this are so valuable, providing an opportunity to engage with landlords and agents on topics which matter to them.
“We’ve had some great initial feedback from attendees on what they would like future events to focus on, and we hope to bring the Forum back in the new year.”
