The Mayor, Councillors and Officers of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council are deeply saddened at the news of the death of The Queen.
Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time.
Books of condolence will be available for members of the public to sign at The Core and Chelmsley Wood Library, these are open from 9:30am on Friday 9 September.
The opening times for the condolence books are:
Monday - Friday 9.00am - 7.00pm
Saturday - Sunday 10.00am - 3:00pm
Two sites have been identified for members of the public to lay flowers. They are Jubilee Gardens, behind Touchwood on Homer Road in Solihull and on Bosworth Drive near the junction with Pine Square roundabout in Chelmsley Wood.
