From Monday 11 October, members of Solihull libraries will have access to a new free reservation service, enabling them to reserve up to ten items.
This means library members can reserve any in-stock items from the library catalogue either on-line or in person, for pick-up from a Solihull library. Members will then be notified by e-mail once a reserved item becomes available for collection.
This service had previously been suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions.
People are advised to check library opening times before visiting, as some libraries have revised their opening hours.
If people decide that they no longer wish to borrow an item, it is important that they cancel their reservation so that other people can borrow them.
Reservations are not available to members with overdue items still out on loan. Since August 2021, overdue items can be returned fine free at any Solihull library.
