Solihull Council is offering up the chance for residents to have their photography featured on the Homepage of the Council’s new website, as part of an upcoming competition to promote the borough’s diversity.
Running from now March until Friday 26 March, residents can submit photos of beauty spots around the borough through Instagram, using the hashtag #SpringtimeSolihull.
Cabinet Member for Resources, Councillor Bob Sleigh OBE, said: “As lockdown restrictions are eased and residents are able to move about more freely, this is a fantastic opportunity to get out and explore the borough.
“Spring time in Solihull is a lovely time of year and what better place to showcase that than the new Council website Homepage.
“This competition will allow a select number of residents to have their images featured on the website, with a full credit displayed alongside. I encourage all budding photographers to take part. Good luck! “
The Homepage of the website allows residents to access a broad range of digital services, as well as view the latest news updates issued by the Council.
