Garden Waste Collection – Paid for Service
We no longer offer a free garden waste collection service. If you would like your garden waste collected, you will need to subscribe to our paid service.
Subscription Details
Annual Fee: £49
Subscription Period: 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026
This is a flat fee for the full year. Please note that there are no discounts if you join part-way through the subscription period.
How the Service Works
Once you’ve subscribed and made your payment, you’ll receive a permit sticker in the post. This sticker must be placed on the back of your garden waste bin, underneath the handles.
To ensure your bin is collected:
Place it at the kerbside with the sticker clearly visible to collection crews.
Only bins displaying a valid sticker will be emptied.
Your permit should arrive within 10–15 working days after we receive your payment.
You do not need to create a Solihull Council account to sign up for garden waste collections.
