From the section: Garden waste
If you do not want to pay for a garden waste collection, there are other ways to manage your waste.
Most garden waste can be managed in your garden by home composting. Our reduce, reuse, recycle page provides details on home composting and how to purchase a compost bin.
More information on home composting and how to make your own compost bin can be found at Garden Organic.
Fallen leaves can be used to make leaf mould. Leaf mould makes a great soil conditioner and is easy to make.
You can learn how to make leaf mould at the Garden Organic website.
Grasscycling/mulch mowing is the natural way of recycling grass by leaving clippings on the lawn when mowing. Grass clippings will decompose quickly and return valuable nutrients back to the soil.
Warwickshire County Council provide more information on grasscycling/ mulch mowing.
Garden waste can be taken to Bickenhill Household Waste Recycling Centre.
An appointment is needed to visit the site and there are vehicle restrictions in place, please check the site requirements before visiting.
