Year 6 education transfer
For all children and young people who have a finalised EHCP the local authority must name the secondary provision identified within the EHCP by 15 February every year. For further information please contact the EHCP Service on 0121 779 1779.
Post 16 education transition for children moving to College
For those young people with EHCP who are likely to transfer into further education and where an EHCP is still deemed appropriate the local authority must name where possible the specific in part i of the plan or in general terms where the specific course hasn’t been identified by the 31st March every year.
