Our COVID-19 page can help you understand the changes when visiting a library and see what other services are available.
Library services available during COVID-19
Solihull’s Click and Collect service is running at most libraries across the borough.
Library opening hours for this service varies between branches.
Welcome to Solihull Libraries Click and Collect service.
This service is available to people that have a Solihull Libraries Membership Card.
Simply complete the online form with your preferences and you will be notified when your items are available for pick up. The service is totally free. Anyone unable to use the online form can place an order by phoning their local library.
You can complete this form for yourself, your children or family group or for a friend, neighbour or relative with their permission.
We will select up to 10 books for each card holder. All you need to do is tell us what you like to read by completing the form and telling us your preferences. Library staff will choose your books and will contact you when your order is ready to collect. Please note we cannot check whether you have previously read a book and cannot select specific titles for you.
During the past year a number of families did not receive their Bookstart packs through Health Visitors or their nursery. If your child was under one years old between March and December 2020 and did not receive a Bookstart baby pack or if they were between three and four years old between September 2019 and August 2020 and did not receive a Bookstart Treasure gift, you can arrange to pick one up by indicating which pack you have missed.
Remember to bring your own bags.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please take care when entering your details as any errors may mean we are unable to process your request.
