The Core Library is next to the Touchwood Shopping Centre, and is on Theatre Square. The nearest car parks are Touchwood and Church Hill; for longer stays the Monkspath Hall Road car park is a few minutes' walk away.
Bus stops in Solihull are on Poplar Road. Go into Touchwood from these and follow the signs through to the library and Core Theatre.
The nearest railway station is Solihull. From the station, cross over Blossomfield Road, then walk along Homer Road to the Touchwood car park entrance, and walk up the path to Theatre Square..

You can get a free printout of your details to take away. Monitors are available at The Core, Chelmsley Wood Library, Hobs Moat Library, and Shirley Library.
There is lots of health information in the library collection or ask about the free NHS health checks for people 40 – 75 years of age.

Core Creatives is based on the first floor of The Core in central Solihull and is open to artists who live, work or study in the borough.
The space has been designed with local creatives and it’s set up and support packages aim help local creatives grow and develop their practice by supporting collaboration, experimentation and business growth.
While this service is in the Core building, it is not run by library staff. Go to the births and deaths registration page for details on how to make an appointment.
