Privacy Notice for Building Control
The Building Control Team manages applications for building work and ensure the Building Regulations set the standards for design and construction are met. They ensure the health and safety of everyone using the buildings. The regulations also certify effective fuel and power conservation. They also establish that adequate facilities and access points are in place for everyone in and around the buildings, including those with disabilities.
We are required to collect this information in order to process Building Regulation applications and to keep an accurate record of work under the Building Act.

Applications are kept for 7 years.
No content is transferred overseas.
