Supported housing

If you find living alone in your own home difficult, but you don't need full-time residential care, supported housing could be a more suitable option.

Supported housing schemes, such as sheltered housing and extra care housing, provide support to residents to help them live independently for as long as possible.

Our schemes can help you:

  • to maintain your independence while feeling safer and supported
  • stay part of the community and have company when you want it, and privacy when you don’t
  • have peace of mind and a sense of security

Our sheltered housing and extra care housing pages provide further information about each scheme.

Our adult social care team can have a chat with you about your needs and everyday life. We can then agree whether sheltered housing or extra care housing is right for you.
