Free breakfast clubs: Guidance for parents
Some Solihull schools are offering free breakfast clubs to primary-aged children to give them the best possible start to the day. This is part of a national scheme funded by the Department for Education (DfE).
Breakfast clubs provide a welcoming environment where pupils can eat, socialise and prepare for learning. They are:
- open to all primary-aged pupils (reception to Year 6)
- run for at least 30 minutes before school
- fully funded and free to attend for all pupils
