In addition to any other criminal court action, there may be civil court action to protect you and the community.
We may use an injunction to deal with antisocial behaviour. The injunction can be used against anyone over the age of 10 and for people living in private accommodation and owning their own properties, not just council tenants. If breached, it can result in imprisonment.
If you are a victim of persistent antisocial behaviour that has not been resolved, you can request a multi-agency review of your case where a local threshold is met.
The Community Trigger is a victim led process which requires local authorities, the police, housing providers and local health teams to jointly deal with antisocial behaviour.
