Collectively, buildings in Solihull are the largest source of emissions in the borough accounting for 49% of total emissions according to the latest figures from 2022, with domestic buildings responsible for 24% of the total. Like the rest of the UK, Solihull faces a significant challenge to transform our housing and make it more energy efficient.
